Ever thought, “I wish my yard had the environmental benefits that come from a native landscape, but I don’t want my house to be the weird one on the block.” Or, “I’d like more birds and butterflies in my yard, but I don’t want it to look messy.”
Then Native Plants for Conventional Landscapes is the program you’ve been looking for — in depth information about native plants that are well suited for even the manicured look, as well as some helpful hints on how to incorporate some of our less buttoned down natives into your landscape without getting your neighbors upset.
Presented by the Passionflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society on Saturday, February 18th, 10 AM at Cooper Memorial Library, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Clermont, just off Hancock Rd. about 1/2 mi N of SR-50, this program is free and open to the public, no pre-registration required, well behaved children are welcome too. Any questions? email PassionflowerFNPS@gmail.com or call Jim 407-952-1026 or Jon 407-448-6195.
