All fine artists and fine crafters are invited to submit applications with digital samples of your artwork via www.zapplication.org, the nationwide artists’ events website for the 11th Annual Downtown Clermont Art Festival. This November 4 & 5, 2017 juried fine art show is a well-established boutique festival produced for Historic Downtown Clermont by the Clermont Downtown Partnership’s Arts & Humanities Council.
Only 50 well-qualified artists will be accepted to compete for cash awards and ribbon recognition categories. Application deadline is October 2nd, 2017 for the “Champions” segment of DCAF. Attendance for DCAF 2017 is expected to be at least 8,000 art collectors and visitors. A selection of artists, artisans and crafters will be exhibited in an adjacent area in Historic Downtown.
Call For Artist Applications: DCAF 2017 will host top-tier creative artists to participate in one of the best small and exclusive art shows in Central Florida. Juried artists chosen to feature their work on the Red Carpet area will complement the branding adopted by the City of Clermont as “Clermont – Choice of Champions!” Artists and crafters exhibiting their work in the non-competitive division section of the show must also apply to be accepted. Those artists must apply directly to CDP by submitting applications via email at info@ClermontDowntownPartnership.com. Potential participants must submit a non-refundable jury fee of $25 with their applications. Accepted Fine Art / Fine Craft artists will receive a space of 10’ x 10’ for $125 or 10’ x 20’ space for $250 in the Red Carpet section on Montrose Street. DCAF Art Awards: Artists will compete for a minimum of $3,000 in cash prizes. “Best of Show” will be awarded $750 while Judges Choice cash prize of $250 each will be awarded across five categories of work with Mixed Media 2-D; Mixed Media 3-D; Photography; Jewelry; and Fine Craft. Up to 10 Awards of Excellence of $100 each are available.

To help support our Clermont art community, special sponsorship opportunities are available for the show’s “Title Sponsor”, “Artist/Sponsor Reception” and the “Featured Artist”. Purchase awards, donor participation and business advertising exposure opportunities are available. The South Lake Art League, Mark’s Flooring, Lake County Economic Development & Tourism, and the City of Clermont have already stepped forward to be 2017 sponsors.
Chalk Art Competition, Art Zone & Farmer’s Market Extras: This Downtown Clermont Art Festival will be free and open to the public from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to 4 PM on Sunday. The Sunday Clermont Farmer’s Market will be held adjacent to the art festival on Sunday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Visitors will enjoy live entertainment, food and shopping within downtown Clermont’s shops and restaurants. A Champions For the Arts Artists’ & Sponsors’ Reception will be held on Saturday night to celebrate the arts in Downtown Clermont.
