The Vzilako family of Groveland came out to enjoy great weather, a camp fire, coffee and donuts along with the some top notch shooting at targets on the pistol portion of the Lions shooting range. Pictured: left -Lion Dan Strauss (head of operations), Lion Tom Sheehan (Range Master – retired police officer of the NYPD); rear – Richard Vzialko. III and Dad, Richard Jr., Lanny V. (daughter), front – Ragina V. (Mom), Richard Sr. (Grandpa) and Ragina V. (Grandma).
The range is now open for 22s on the pistol range as well as sheet and target for shotguns. All proceeds go to the Lions charities. Currently, the club is a leader in District 35-O campaign to replace the building currently being used for the District’s eyeglasses recycling program in Ocoee.
The range has proven to be a great venue for private parties, especially wedding (bachelors), birthday parties and extended family events. The range is open 8 – noon on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Saturdays. Look for their sign on SR 50 in Groveland, across from Tractor Supply.
