Having met the strict auditioning requirements, the ladies have accepted an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall In New York. The ladies are raising funds to cover travel expenses. Their performance at the Club’s special meeting was very well received.
The Club was the host for Zone 4 Clubs in Central Florida Lions District 35-O. Guests included Rick and Linda Lucevo, First VP of the Winter Garden, Al White, President of the Winter Garden Club and Lion Steve Van Varick, of Ocoee Lions, Zone 4 Chairman.
Lion Von Varrick discussed plans being made to replace the warehouse in Ocoee used for collection and distribution of donated eye glasses distributed around the world. Lion Nick Jones is donating architectural services for this most worthwhile project. Donations can be made through Ocoee Lions web site and their GO-FUND-ME web site.
