Chiropractic Relocates. More Space, More Services

Dr. Peter Brockman's office, South Lake Wellness & Injury Center, is now located at 2575 E. Highway 50, Suite E, behind Chick-Fil-A. This is on the southwest corner of Hancock Road and SR 50.
With this move, we have almost tripled our square footage and have increased the complementary services we offer. Some of the new services we provide are acupuncture, therapeutic laser and expanded massage and spinal decompression services.
David Turner, a licensed acupuncturist, has joined our family. David graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a bachelor's degree of professional health studies and a master's degree of oriental medicine. In addition to his regular curriculum, he studied contemporary Chinese pulse diagnosis, auricular medicine and Master Tung acupuncture points, which are excellent for pain management. David also studied Biopuncture, with Dr. Jan Kersschot, the originator of the technique. David has a strong commitment to the care of his patients, is very results driven in his approach to treating them, and is passionate about helping them achieve their ultimate health goals.
The therapeutic laser we utilize is an Erchonia PL5000. We chose the Erchonia laser because it was the first low-level laser to receive market clearance by the FDA for the treatment of neck and shoulder pain. This laser therapy is a painless treatment that is applied by Dr. Brockman to the injured or painful area. Many of our patients have seen outstanding results. We are very excited to bring this cutting edge technology to Clermont.
We have been able to expand massage and spinal decompression services because of our increased space. We now have three massage therapists available. Our therapists are extremely skilled in neuromuscular, deep tissue and Swedish massage and are extremely professional. Spinal decompression is quite effective in the treatment of neck and low back disc herniations. Decompression has helped many patients avoid surgery.
