Swim Safely with Kathleen Pickard

Kathleen is a doctor recommended Master Certified Instructor. Located in Clermont since 1998, she is also licensed and insured. She teaches the most comprehensive aquatic survival skills and water safety program available. They are individual swimming lessons in a heated pool for ages six months to adult. Kathleen teaches safety and survival skills first, which do include lessons taken while fully clothed. She teaches snorkeling lessons to children as young as two years old. She also teaches stroke progression and special needs.
She is honored to be a founding member of Unlock Autism. She assisted with the Central Florida Drowning Prevention Task Force, the Central Florida Safe Kids Coalition and also the Lake County Safe Kids Coalition. She was chosen by the South Lake YMCA, as the Volunteer of the Year, two years in a row.
She is the founder and sponsor of the Annual Locks of Love Cut-Off at the Relay For Life South Lake. She will be hosting her eighth annual event on April 27th at South Lake High School.
