Clermont Kiwanis Club

On January 10, 2012, Mr. Mike Corradino was the guest speaker at the Clermont Kiwanis Club. Mr. Corradino spoke about rhesus monkey migration from Silver Springs briefly, then explained more about his life as a radio newsman. From 1966 on he was a traffic reporter in NY until he moved to Venice, FL where he read the news live on radio. He told many humorous stories of his career. Finally he made the point that the power of the press can't be underestimated when he demonstrated he won a battle over flammable pajamas sold by a major dept. store chain.
