Alliance to Protect Water Resources, Inc.
Thursday, January 26, 2012
Please join us on Thursday, February 2, 2012 to hear W. Scott McBride of the U.S. Geological Survey's Florida Water Science Center in Tampa talk about Central Florida hydrology. Mr. McBride has over 20 years of experience with the USGS on water related studies in Florida. He has recently completed studies on the Withlachoochee River basin including the Lake Panasoffkee watershed and interactions between the lake's surface water and groundwater in the aquifer. The presentation will give us the opportunity to learn more about our own watersheds in south Lake through the hydrologic studies already completed and those still in progress by the Florida Water Science Center in Tampa.
Our meeting, that begins at 7pm at Jenkins Auditorium in downtown Clermont, is free and open to the public. Check out more current water issues information on our Facebook page! Other information call: 352-394-1839 or 352-429-1042.
