Opera at the Library

Opera at the Library's program for January 2012 will be Giuseppe Verdi's Otello. The opera will be shown on Monday, Jan. 23rd, 2012, in room 108B in the Cooper Memorial Library from 1:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a brief introduction and lecture before the program by Dennis Smolarek, Reference Librarian, Cooper Memorial Library, and Norma Trivelli, Adjunct Professor of Foreign Languages and vocal coach at Lake-Sumter Community College.

The programs are free to the general public and everyone is encouraged to attend to heighten their understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of opera. Light refreshments will be provided at intermission by our Friends of the Opera.
