South Lake Community Cancer Survivors

This year's South Lake American Cancer Society Relay for Life Campaign will soon come to a close. Our local communities have supported the 2012 Relay campaign in many ways and the Relay team volunteers are very grateful. However, there are a few weeks left before the event culminates in a 24-hour walkathon at the South Lake High School track on April 27 and 28. There is more work to be done before the South Lake Relay for Life can be designated a success.

One major element of any Relay campaign that needs to happen is for cancer survivors in the local community to step forward and sign up to attend the April Relay event. Cancer survivors who are able to attend the closing event will be duly recognized with a sit-down dinner and pinning ceremony, followed by games and fun activities.
