Montverde Academy Spelling Bee

Montverde Academy's 2012 Spelling Bee took place on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, inside the Sandra O. Stephens Fine Arts Center. All the competitors in the spelling bee were prepared, displayed confidence, and showed academic fortitude in their attempts to spell words correctly. In the midst of very competent competition and challenging word requests, Montverde Academy 4th grader Madelyn Moore was crowned champion! Madelyn won the spelling bee by answering/pronouncing the rather complicated spelling of the word "DISCIPLES." Runner up was Dhyey Shah from fifth grade.
