Montverde Academy Girls' Varsity Basketball Team Victorious

The Montverde Academy girls' varsity basketball team recently won their first game against Central Florida Christian Academy, from Orlando, Florida, by the score of 36-23. In that victory, junior forward Corinne Missi had 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals, while freshman guard Gloria Katuka finished up with 8 points, 13 rebounds, and 5 steals. Akeyla Furbert, also a member of the Montverde Academy girls' varsity soccer team, contributed 8 points and 10 steals as freshman forward Lauren Kandrach finished the evening with 4 points and 12 rebounds. Montverde Academy congratulates the girls' basketball team on their recent victory and wishes them continued success in their remaining games this season.
