Simbang Gabi: a Filipino Christmas Tradition

The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in conjunction with the Ministry to the Filipinos is hosting the second day of a 9-day novena to prepare for the birth of Christ on Friday, December 16, at 6:30 pm. A pot luck dinner hosted by the Filipino-American Community follows in the Social Hall. Holy Family Catholic Church is hosting the daily traditional Simbang Gabi Novena Mases at 430 am. On Thursday, December 22, Bishop John Noonan will be the celebrant at the St. James Cathedral in Orlando at 7:99 pm. For further information, contact Bini Walcott (352) 394-1358.
