This will be our  1st annual championship and it will take place July 11 & 12, 2009. We  hope to bring out golfers of every skill level to compete. It is a  true test for the golfer to come out and compete with other golfers  as well as to take on the challenge of the golf course itself. We want to create activities at the club where everyone can  come and interact with one another.

SRGC has created other programs that will keep you golfing during  this economic downturn. Our "Beat the Heat Program" is a summer  card that enables you to play golf at a discounted rate all summer  long. We also have a Player Development Program which offers you  unlimited use of the practice range and cart fee rates for play  during twilight hours for less than a dollar a day.

Other exciting news is the Tavern on the Ridge at Sanctuary Ridge  Golf Club. We have recently hired Chef Tracey Banks who has brought a  unique flavor to Clermont. Her background has been described as  "Floribbean Cuisine." She makes most everything from scratch and  sets high standards when it comes to great food. Our clubhouse, which  overlooks Lake Apopka and downtown Orlando, offers lunch seven days a  week. If you are looking for a place to hold an event or even a  wedding reception, Tavern on the Ridge is the place to be.
