The CARES Center

The CARES Center is a 501-c-(3) nonprofit spay and neuter clinic dedicated to helping reverse the cycle of uncontrolled breeding that results in the sad population of abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats - and to increase awareness of responsible ownership.

Surgeries are done every Tuesday and Friday by appointment only. The price of a cat neuter is $23, a cat spay is $28. The price of a dog neuter starts at $40, a dog spay at $45 and goes up according to weight. The walk-in shot clinic is every Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., no appointment necessary. Beginning Saturday, October 3, 2009, the CARES Center will add another walk-in shot clinic from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., no appointment necessary.

On Saturday, October 3, we will have the Grand Opening of the CARES Center small animal wellness clinic. An office visit and wellness exam on the general health of your pet is $20. Other services are available including diagnosis and treatment of minor complaints, vaccinations, fecal testing, urinalysis, blood work, dental issues, skin conditions and allergies. Office hours for the wellness clinic are Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Walk-ins on availability.
