The philosophy at Women's Care of Clermont is
simple: "You're always taking care of others, so let us take
care of you." Dr. Shelley Glover focuses on making her
patients become healthier on the inside as well as making
them look beautiful on the outside. Dr. Glover provides a
complete range of gynecological services complemented
by the newest, state-of-the-art aesthetic services.
Opened in 2001, Women's Care of Clermont's
welcoming all-female staff is pleased to provide care,
"for women by women." Only minutes from Bella
Collina, the practice is easily accessible to clients
throughout Metro Orlando without having to endure
downtown Orlando traffic. The bright, airy office
offers separate stylish suites for individualized treatments
ranging from gynecological exams and procedures to
aesthetic services such as facials and chemical peels.
Dr. Glover specializes in hormone imbalance and
menopausal issues. She offers many treatment options
to include pharmaceutical grade vitamins, bioidentical
hormones and mainstream therapies.
Women's Care of Clermont offers several anti-aging
and skin-beautification services performed onsite in a
comfortable and relaxed environment. Patients can
select from Botox®, skin fillers (Restylane®, Juvederm®
and Radiesse®), skincare rejuvenation and hair removal
using pulse light therapy as well as localized fat reduction
utilizing mesotherapy.
Dr. Glover is pleased to carry only pharmaceutical
grade skin care lines to include Mineralogie, a mineralbased
makeup, and Sesha Skin Therapy Clinical.
Dr. Glover is passionate about improving healthcare
for all patients in Central Florida. She is very active in
her community and regularly participates at county,
state and national medical forums to positively impact
healthcare policy. She is President of the Lake-Sumter
Medical Society, President of the Florida Medical
Association Foundation and President of We Care of
Lake County. Additionally, Dr. Glover donates her
gynecological services to indigent patients through
local community programs.
Originally, from Washington, D.C., Dr. Glover
received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the smallest
of the Ivy League Institutions, Columbia University.
She earned her Medical Degree from the University of
California, San Francisco, ranked among the top five
medical schools in the country. She then received a
Master's Degree in Maternal & Child Health from the
University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Glover is a
fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and
Gynecologists and a member of the American Academy
of Cosmetic Gynecologists. Dr. Glover and her husband,
Mark, relocated to Central Florida in 2000.They now
live in Windermere with their daughter, Mia, and are
pleased to call Orlando their home.
