Posted on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1:37 am

Non-native plants: some are tame & pretty — nice! others confuse our butterflies — naughty! and far too many threaten the native plant communities that the wildlife in our natural areas depend on — downright NASTY! Learn all about them when Sherry Williams presents Exotic Invasives: What they are, Why they’re Bad, and How You can Help, Saturday February 17th, 10 AM at Cooper Memorial Library in Clermont.
Sponsored by the Passionflower Chapter of The Florida Native Plant Society, this program is free and open to the public. Older children welcome to listen and learn. Come and take home a free native plant — if you win our door prize. More information? Call Jim 407-952-1026, or Jon 407-448-6195 or email PassionflowerFNPS@gmail.com
