FirepupĀ® Program

Posted on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 8:40 am

The City of Clermont is continuing a fire safety and injury prevention program for children and parents. Last year our program reached over 74,000 adults and children and we need your help.
Each firefighter in the department is confident that fire losses can be prevented, but children and their parents must be properly educated in fire safety. Will you partner with us?
In teamwork with our department and the National Fire Safety Council, Inc. you would be providing fire safety education materials for children in Clermont. These materials have been designed exclusively by the National Fire Safety Council, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit orgranization. This program will assist us in teaching children fire safety and burn prevention. We believe that by making children aware we can prevent tragic fire losses and deaths.
To assist in funding these materials, our department is turning to concerned business, industrial and professional leaders. We are requesting your participation in providing fire safety materials and services for childdren at $3 per child. Any size donation will be beneficial and appreciated. An acknowledgment of those who support this program will be listed on the prestige page of all activity materials.
Please send your donation made payable to National Fire Safety Council, Inc. and mail to Firepup Program, Clermont Fire Department, 439 W. Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711. We also accept credit card donations. Please contact Bonnie at 1-877-435-7777 to donate.
Thank you in advance for your concerned support.
