Posted on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:47 am

The Clermont Downtown Partnership continues to host exciting new Downtown Clermont First Friday Food Truck events with the next one planned for Friday night, May 3 from 5:30 to 9 PM. With a live band, food trucks, special craft vendors for shopping, entertainment, vintage cars, a Bounce House, Kid’s Zone and a Rock Climbing Wall, there will be something for everyone! Plus, many of the downtown shops will remain open late.
The nationally respected David Oliver Willis Band will be featured with a free concert in City Hall Park. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Food trucks and assorted vendors will be on the downtown Clermont streets. Many area Clermont Downtown Partnership stores will remain open late that evening until 9 PM. This monthly event is sponsored by the Clermont Downtown Partnership and the City of Clermont.
David Oliver Willis is a former American Idol Top 40 Finalist. Inspired by music from Otis Redding, Nina Simone and Sam Cooke; Willis has a voice that fits right in with modern sounds of Alabama Shakes and Aloe Blacc. This singer is a native of nearby Mount Dora.
