Florida Lakes Symphony Orchestra’s first performances of the new year will explode onto the state on Thursday, January 11 in Eustis at Epiphany Celebration Anglican Church and Friday, January 12 in Clermont at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
Celebrated conductor of the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Carl Topilow, will lead Lake County’s resident professional symphony orchestra, Florida Lakes Symphony, with Broadway showstoppers in Broadway Baby, featuring hits from such Broadway shows as Gershwin’s Porgy & Bess, Showboat, Fiddler on the Roof, The Music Man, Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music and other fabulous musicals.
Baritone soloist, Lee Mueller, who has performed with the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra will perform hits from Man of LaMancha and others. Lee is joined by coloratura soprano Diana Rinaldi Chambers. Diana is the daughter of famed soprano star, Beverly Rinaldi, who is now a sought after voice instructor here in the area. Diana has performed many classic roles as a competition soloist as well as professionally in regional and dinner theatre. She will be singing hits from My Fair Lady and others in the program
