Precision Hearing, based in Clermont, is pleased to announce its “Gift Of Hearing” essay contest. The competition is designed to give one person in need in the community the opportunity to receive the gift of hearing and win a new pair of digital hearing aids.
The winner will receive a pair of state of the art Oticon Opn Hearing Aids. Opn is changing people’s lives with a new world of sound, helping them open up to the world like never before. Opn is the first hearing aid proven to work in harmony with the brain to help people hear better with less effort and to remember more of what is being said.
The contest will end on Monday, December 10th. Those wishing to submit an entry need simply to write an essay describing why they or someone they know would benefit from winning a pair of hearing aids but have been unable to obtain them due to financial difficulties. Dr. Weinbaum is no stranger to hearing loss having lived with it herself since the age of five and she always wanted to help improve the lives of others struggling with hearing loss. She is board certified in audiology and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss at her Clermont Precision Hearing clinic. She earned her Doctor Of Audiology degree from the University of South Florida. She is a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.
