Say Hello to the lovely Miss Molly! This sweet girl was found living under a decrepit barn in Mississippi along with her litter of puppies. All of her puppies found homes except for one sweet, fuzzy yellow lab that we ended up naming Norman. Both Molly and Norman found much love and comfort once they arrived at Houndhaven. Norman eventually found a forever home, but loving mama Molly needed some extra TLC. She was heartworm positive, underweight, and needed to be spayed, because, well after multiple litters of puppies, she deserved a break.
Miss Molly has blossomed with all of the TLC. She has pep in her step now that she has gained a little weight, we got rid of those pesky heartworms, and she has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. The TLC she loves the most is human companionship. When the volunteers take her for walks she loves to nuzzle up against them and stop for belly rubs. She has no shame in asking for extended walks and loving, and she certainly deserves it for the rough life that she has lived.
Miss Molly is a lovely 6-7 years young black lab. As you can tell by her picture she is a good natured, sweet girl with a lovable, snuggable personality. Since she’s had such a rough life up until now, probably from having to be protective of her puppies, she would do best being the only dog in the house. There, she could be Queen Bee, and give you all the love and attention you so richly deserve, and in turn, you could give her all the snuggles she so eagerly adores!
If you’ve been looking for a new addition for your family, and would love a real snuggle bug, please visit www.houndhaven.org to review our adoption policies and procedures, and complete an application. And just in time for Thanksgiving…Miss Molly would be most Thankful!!
