The South Lake County Historical Society invites you to host your next gathering at the 1924 train depot located in Clermont’s Historic Village. As you can see, the depot is ideally situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Minneola where cooling breezes can be felt even on the warmest days. The depot offers ample parking, two side pavilions and an air conditioned meeting room that is ideal for events like baby showers, birthday & anniversary parties and small wedding receptions. The grounds of the Village also offer beautiful views of the new Victory Pointe which offer the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony.
The Historic Village is located at 490 West Avenue in Clermont, not far from the city’s historic downtown shopping district and is open to the public every Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and every Saturday & Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. If you are interested in renting the depot, why not come and see all it has to offer for yourself? While you are there, you can tour all the other historic buildings in the Village. Admission is free but a donation of $2.00 per adult is requested.
