West Orange proved to be very strong in softball. They won 4-0 and 12-0 against the Lady Hawks on Monday.
The East Ridge boys tennis team was very strong and won 7-0 against the Hawks on Monday.
The girls JV lacrosse team lost at Evans on Tuesday, while the baseball team challenged a strong Montverde team before losing 3-1.
On Wednesday, the boys weightlifting team lost by 5 points to Mt. Dora. The baseball team struggled at Olympia, while boys lacrosse improved to 5-1 with a huge 12-9 victory at Apopka.
On Thursday, baseball swept a double header from Mt. Dora. The JV team defeated Mt. Dora 13-7. The varsity team won 1-0 with Tyler Smith scoring the game winning run.
The girls lacrosse team defeated Lake Mary Prep on Thursday.
On Friday, the JV baseball team defeated Apopka 15-5.
Boys lacrosse defeated Ocoee on Friday by a score of 20-0.
The girls lacrosse team defeated Santa Fe on Friday as well.
The Athletic Boosters hosted a fundraiser at the Pig on the Pond over the weekend. There were numerous athletes, coaches and parents involved in the fundraiser. Thank you to everyone involved.
This week, boys lacrosse plays Celebration on Monday at home. On Tuesday, JV girls lacrosse will play Oak Ridge followed by varsity against Windermere at home. The softball team will also host Montverde. The boys weightlifting team will compete in the District Tournament on Wednesday while boys lacrosse will travel to West Orange. Tennis will travel to Ocoee on Thursday, while girls lacrosse will play at Apopka. Baseball will also play at West Orange and the JV baseball team will host West Orange on Thursday. On Friday, softball will host Boone and boys lacrosse will host East Ridge. The girls lacrosse team will travel to Seminole and the track teams will travel to Deltona.
