The Cooper Memorial Library will host the October Mountain Washtub Band live in concert with a program of folk and patriotic music generously sponsored by our Friends of the Cooper Memorial Library on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. on our second floor stage in the library.
The band gets its name from an actual mountain in the Appalachian chain in western Massachusetts. Band members include Don on harmonica & accordion, Cookie on guitar & fiddle, Dolly on washtub bass, Dave on mandolin & guitar, and Dale on banjo, fiddle, & guitar.
This is a free program and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. For more information about this and other special events, please contact Dennis Smolarek at 352-536-2275 and email at email@example.com
