Parkinson Support Group Meetings

Greater South Lake Area Parkinson Support Group. “Ease the burden, find the cure.” Community Invited!
What to expect: speaker, resources, Q & A, literature on Parkinson Disease.
We meet the third Tuesday of the month from September through May. No meetings in June, July or August. Meeting Location: Cooper Memorial Library, 2525 Oakley Seaver Drive, Room 108-A or B, Clermont 34711, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Light refreshments provided. Leader: Deborah Snow. Upcoming Meeting Dates:
Tuesday, October 17th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in Room 108-B at Cooper Memorial Library 2525 Oakley Seaver Dr. Clermont. Speaker/Topic: Big Parkinson’s Therapy Program-specifically designed for P.D. patients. Dr. Kristin Spear with Hohman Rehab will present as a Certified BIG Therapist.
Tuesday, November 21st – from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Room: TBD at Cooper Memorial Library. Speaker/Presenter: Dr. Sheila Baez-Torres, M.D. Board Certified Neurologist will discuss a new Parkinson’s medication. Meeting sponsored by: U.S. World Meds.
