Pastfinders of South Lake County Genealogical Society is dedicated in the art of preserving family history. Volunteers will be available to help you scan your photos, negatives and slides, especially those photos stuck in albums. Bring a handful of photos and documents and an album to scan. Don’t forget to bring a USB storage stick to save your new digital media on. The service is free but reservations are required for May 18th 2019 from 10 – noon. Genealogy One-on-One Research Help – Just starting your family tree research, or been chasing down your ancestors one branch at a time, but you’re stuck out on a limb and need a little help getting down? Pastfinders will have volunteers on hand to help you get started or break thru that brick wall. Please make a reservation for your one-on-one time slot. We hope we can give you a hand up while you climb your family tree. Reservations are made at pastfindersslc.org. Event will be held at Cooper Memorial Library on Saturday May 18th 2019 between the hours of 10 and noon. Please bring your research materials.
