Propagating Plants

Posted on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 1:09 am

What’s the best way to propagate my favorite native plants? Does propagating my favorite non-natives really hurt anything? How have we changed the local environment? and what’s the impact been on bio-diversity? In Propagating Diversity, a wide ranging program of interest to both gardeners and conservationists, a local expert pursuing advanced courses in the field will answer these questions and more.
Join members of the Passionflower Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society for this fascinating program which is free & open to the public at 10 AM on Saturday March 18th at the Oakland Nature Preserve, just off W Oakland Avenue a mile or so north of Colonial Drive (Hwy 50). Go home with a free native plant — if you win one of our door prizes.
