Runner Hopes to Make a Difference

Posted on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 1:55 am

Dan is 53 years old. 2 ½ years ago, he weighed over 200 pounds and couldn’t run around the block. Now he weighs 132, his high school weight, and through the unfortunate and unexpected death of a close friend, his own struggles with depression, his drive to make a difference for our Veterans as well as his passion for running, Dan decided he wanted to make a difference. So Dan is running across the United States to raise funding and awareness of mental illness programs and veterans services. His journey began March 15 of this year, starting in Springfield Oregon.
Mr. Cornford has already run more than 3,000 miles and will be running the final leg of his route Tennille FL through Old Town, Bronson, Ocala, Lady Lake, Clermont, Lake Buena Vista, St. Cloud, Melbourne, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Jupiter arriving at his final destination in West Palm Beach FL (to total approximately 3,700 miles in total) September 3 through 17, 2017 and would appreciate an opportunity to spread his message through media of his cause.
