Montverde’s new Mid-Week Market, A Community Market with an International Flavor, makes its debut Wednesday January 10th in Kirk Park from 11:00am until 6:00pm.
The Market features fresh produce – pesticide free and conventional; fresh baked breads from Yalaha and other bakeries; a great selection of freshly caught seafood; candies, nuts, honeys; delightful and delicious cottage industry creations; handmade and homemade crafts and jewelry; landscaping needs including plants, shrubs, flowers and trees – and expert advice; healthy lifestyle choices; food preparation and storage items; pet treats and leashes; and so much more. Shoppers will enjoy offerings from food vendors with tasty servings such as crepes, quiche, perogies, smoothies, hot dogs, turkey legs and other goodies. Also, popular saxophonist Jay Guess of The Class Act Jazz Band, will play from 11:00am until 4:00pm to add beautiful, relaxing music to the pleasant atmosphere.
Hours for the Mid-Week Market are 11:00am to 6:00pm every Wednesday. The spacious and gracious Kirk Park in the Town of Montverde is home to beautiful mature oak trees and features plenty of free parking for Market visitors. Florida CR 455, referred to as Florida’s Green Mountain Scenic Byway, is adjacent to the park and easily accesses Highway 50 to the south and highways 561 and 19 to the north.
