March 17, 2018 12-5 pm at Lake Catherine Blueberries Farm 5849 Lake Catherine Rd, Groveland, FL 34736
Kindness Palooza Festival 2018 will be filled with live local entertainment including many teen bands, performers and artists. There will be food, fun, art, music, dance, demonstrations and inspirational speakers brought to you by our youth of the community to help spread kindness and help make a difference.
Over 60 local youth deemed “The Turnaround Generation” with the support of numerous business and community leaders are working together to put on an event supporting our youth and demonstrating the desire to make a difference – and that difference starts with them.
Recent events brought concerns to so many and the message went out that the community wanted to let our kids know that we are listening to their needs and concerns. A diverse group of teens came together from all areas of Clermont and nearby communities and with the support, and loving leadership of several adults the teens were inducted as “Ambassadors”. The excitement to create an event that not only was for them, but was created by them, started to spread like wildfire! The teens starting planning, implementing and doing the physical labor to make this event happen.
Will you support them?
Spreading kindness – making a difference is what we are about. We are working to change the conversations with our loved and valued youth by starting at the beginning to reduce emotional, spiritual or physical suicide with education and awareness. The youth and leaders joined together to create an event like none other before.
